2009 – I’m in 3rd semester this year. I’m so thankful to God for passing all the last semester papers and get increase my pointer. My timetable for this semester is very pack! Every day I have class until 6.00 pm. It is very tiring but I have to through it. I am taking 8 subjects this semester and my credit hour is 21. Below are the lists of the subjects:

ACC165 – Cost Accounting
MGT269 – Business communication
QMT216 – Introduction to statistics
BEL311 – English for academic Purpose
ECO211 – Macroeconomics
CTU241 – Fundamentals of Islamic Economics
BMD101 – Mandarin language
HSK115 – Volleyball

BEL 311 stands for English for Academic Purpose. Mr Izuan is teaching me for this subject. Honestly he is better than my previous lecturer. I don’t know why… maybe when doing speaking test he will guide me and my friends compared to my previous lecturer that only just sit and listen to our conversation. I am really enjoyed learning this subject because I had learned how to pronounce English words correctly. My first impression when entered this class is I’m very nervous. This is because sometimes I ‘m shy and a little bit afraid to talk in English. But after a week, I think I can cope with this problem. Other than that, learning English can help me improve my English either in speaking or writing. It also enjoys learning this subject because I’ve learned how to make a blog! Through it I can share my ideas and experience with my classmates. It is very interesting.

Cost Accounting or ACC165 should be taken when I’m in part 2 but I’m repeating my Business Accounting paper so that I can’t take the costing paper. I ‘m taking this paper in this semester because I don’t want to extend it. First impression when I entered to D2B4 class, I feel so nervous and afraid. No wonder why… I look around and my classmates, they look so strange to me. At that time I told my friend that I wanted to drop the subject. Haha…. I don’t know how can study in this situation. But my friend convinced me to try the first class. After learned chapter 1 and 2 that taught by Miss Ashikin, I really enjoy the subject maybe because I love calculation! This subject has 4 credit hour and I really hope that I can pass it.

I also take Business Communication that is MGT269. Sincerely I didn’t like much this subject at the beginning. It is because I’m afraid to talk in front of people. But after couple of week I think I can consider it. This subject is teaching by Encik Ahmad Kamil b. Mohamed. He is wearing glasses and use microphone when teaching. He speaks English straightly and didn’t stop. I have to pay full attention in this class. Besides that, some of my friends have changed class. I don’t know why.. Although this subject has 3 credit hour, I hope I can do my best and can give full cooperation to all my group members.

Last semester I’m taking ECO162 but this semester I’m taking ECO211.i realize that it is more tough that the previous paper. Pn Zuraidah teaches for this subject. Our classes are on Monday and Wednesday. My first impression when entered this class is I feel so bored. It is because the lecturer didn’t give more explanation to us. She just gives general knowledge. I realized me that I have to study it toughly by myself. If not, I don’t think I can do it in final. This subject also has 3 credit hour and I have to concentrate all the time to cover the entire chapter.

Moreover I also take QMT216. This is Introduction to Statistics. I love to study this subject because I love calculation. Besides that the lecturer also attracts me to pay the full attention. She is quiet chubby and cute. Her name is Miss Zarina. She is very sporting and the way she teaching is very interesting. If I didn’t get what she taught, she will explain in more detail. Credit hour for this subject is 3 hour. We meet twice a week. I really hope that I can target this paper and can score A. so that I can maintain my CGPA.

The other subject is Fundamental of Islamic Economics (CTU241). This subject is really enjoyed. It was taught by Ustaz Kamarulzaman. He is very sporting and always told about student’s case in this UiTM. When first time I saw him I thought he is strict but I’m absolutely wrong. He always smile in class make me want to see him while he speaks. This subject differs from last semester CTU paper because this semester I have to learn about economic in Islam. Whether it only has 3 credit hour but I have to attend all the class in order to pass it.

BMD101 stand for Mandarin language. I’m so excited that I can learn this subject. It is because my friends in other UiTM campus cannot take this subject because there are several problems. So I think I’m lucky for register this subject. It is taught by Miss Zhang. She is very understanding and patient lecturer. She will giving us time to do her exercises and will discuss it together. It is very fun to study in that situation. Moreover, when I’m in primary school I had learned about this language and I would like to recall it back and use it in my future. We also know that nowadays company prefer to hire employee that can speak in different language.

My last subject is for co-curriculum. I took volleyball because I love to play this game when I’m in secondary school. It also fun because there are no specific rules to play this game. We can enjoy it! Besides that, the coach is very sporting. He taught us the right technique to play. First week when we are meeting, I play and get hurt at my left hand but it doesn’t mean that I’m not playing again. It make me more excite to play it again.

Being in this semester is very tough to me. I have to be preparing mentally and physically. No matter what happen in the future I have to face it and I really hope that I can finish this semester with joys!
